November empties

What I used up in November, what I liked, what I would repurchase

THE BODY SHOP Coconut Body Butter – An absolutely divine summer scent. Before summer I stocked up on these smaller Body Butter pots from The Body Shop, all in different scents. Coconut for me is a distinctly summer scent. It reminds me of beach and sun much more so than of snowflakes and Christmas trees 🙂 I would repurchase TBS Body Butters, only in another scent family.

NIVEA In Shower Body Milk – This one I liked but I won’t be repurchasing it. Since I still love skipping the step of applying the lotion after showering I replaced it with a Lush Body Conditioner that I use in the same way – after cleaning my body.

BULLDOG Original Shave Gel – This one you might find strange since it is ‘a man’s’ product. I, myself, am not too concerned with that at all 🙂 I used this shaving gel on my legs and got one of the smoothest shaves ever. It does not produce a massive lather but since it is a gel consistency, it doesn’t need to in order to give you a comfortable shave. Bulldog was born and created in 2005 by Simon Duffy, when he created a straightforward skincare option for men who wanted products packed with natural ingredients. The scent is marvellous and Bulldog will definitely remain my best friend, even though I’m a lady, since I stocked up on one more tube of this shaving gel 🙂

Björk & Berries White Forest hand wash – One of the most gorgeously smelling hand soaps I ever owned. The woody scent of birch and pine makes my hand washing ritual kinda relaxing. It came with a corresponding hand cream and in both of them, fragnances are quite strong. If you are prone to scent induced headaches, you might find these two too much. However, I absolutely loved this.

Kérastase Elixir Ultime Oléo Complexe – It claims to treat your hair with endless benefits of rich blend of precious oils, including argan and maize. It is meant to treat, protect and strengthen your hair, deeply nourish them while also controlling the look of frizz, boosting shine and reduce the appearance of split ends. It also contains vitamins A and C and Immortal Moringa. Whatever the heck that is 🙂

I found that this products works to the same extent as any other dry hair oil. I have very long hair and I go through these oils relatively quick. I did not found this one to do any miracles, other than protect from mechanical damage, tame frizz and add shine – like any other slightly cheaper oil. If you are looking for one, go with the L’oreal Elvive, that I made by the same company and in my opinion, the same.
